First off, I’m sorry that this isn’t a content filled newsletter in your mailbox like you may have been expecting. I’ve had a very busy week that consisted of mid-terms, projects and longer practices. Luckily, next week I have a week to unwind and get my head back in it. I had about half of it done and I realized that it simply wasn’t up to my standard in any way, and I didn’t want to send out a newsletter with 50% effort. At the end of the day, I’m a college student trying to balance track, academics and this newsletter, and at some points I have to make tough decisions on what I can and cannot do. However, I don’t plan on this happening again because the bulk of my remaining semester should not be this packed full. In terms of the next newsletter, the plan is to wait for the NCAA to have their championship meets this weekend, and then recap everything next week, while looking ahead to the high school and collegiate outdoor season. Since I feel bad, I’ll give you all a rough outline of what’s to come, and some of the content that you should expect to see in the coming weeks and months.
What’s on the way?🤷
March 18th — National Championship Recap🏆
March 25th — College Commitment Summary✍️
April 1st — Outdoor Track is Here to Stay🏃🏼♀️
We also plan on doing more interviews, and even some team profiles from high school and colleges across the state. I hope that you all are enjoying the content we are putting out! As I find myself saying in every newsletter, thank you to all of you who read this and support what we are trying to do! Thanks for hanging in there with us, and please have a great weekend, and as always, watch some track and field for us!
